If you know me, you know that I am not the most patient of people sometimes, so it has been killing me to keep it a secret, but as shown by the many positive pregnancy tests below (I think I took a total of 7 or 8 over a total of 4 days!), YES, Adam and I are having a baby! WOO HOO!!! As of today, I am a little over 12 weeks, and we're ready to tell everyone after having had a total of 4 doctor visits and 4 ultra sounds already! (Pictures are coming of those!) We are soooo happy, excited, and so blessed to be expecting a little Baby Cahill around tax day, April 15th. We can't wait!

It was fun and a relief to see the lines get darker each day. I was at the dr. the day after my first positive test to get some blood drawn. The first day they took it the hcg (pregnancy hormone) was at 68. And just forty eight hours later it had
more than tripled to 233! The basically want a double of the number, so a triple was GREAT!

Above is how I told Adam: We were actually at his mom and dad's house for the weekend for boating. The day earlier when we were on the boat I had a rough time water skiing considering that I had been doing pretty well. I fell twice and it was really rough water that day. I then got the rope caught around my ankle and my leg was cut. In my head I thought, "Something does not want me to be water skiing today!" and hopped out to get back on the boat. Sure enough when my temperature was still up the next day, guess what??? Woo hoo! Positive test! Haha, it was about 6:00 am and I had to figure out a way for me to get Adam into the bathroom. I shook Adam awake and told him that I had broken the toilet in the bathroom and that he needed to fix it. I handed him his glasses on the way and he looked over at it to see the tests. Open mouthed he turned to me and said, "Really? Really? Oh my gosh!!!" A happy and relieved moment for both of us!!!

An up close look of the first line and the first digital test.
Your line looked just like mine - almost invisible! My Adam couldn't even see it!
