Well here we are, just ELEVEN days until Madelyn's induction date. We're ready and waiting, waiting for her at this point! I've been hopping on the treadmill more and more to try to help things along but who knows if it really is?! Who knows if it's doing any good but it can't hurt! Everything at school is set and ready to go as well. My sub has been in a few times to know where everything is, all my plans are finished through the end of the year, etc. Now we just need a baby to make all of the planning and getting ready to come to fuition! As you can see below, Gizmo is more than ready for Madelyn as well... She loves the soft suede like sheet that's on her pack n play. We tried to put foil down (I had read online that this is supposed to scare cats.) Ha. Not our Gizmo. When Adam found her in there he said he'd seen her walk on the foil, sleep on it, and even somewhat use it as a blanket. I think some balloons might be the next course of action to try to get her to stay out. We'll see if that works!!
It's unfortunate that she looks pretty darn cute in there...
Here's the Gizzer above being allllll too curious. What's that saying about curiosity and cats!?!? Just kidding of course...A few fun facts for the week:
How far along? 38 weeks! She's been considered full term for a week now!
Weight gain/loss? Up 27
Maternity Clothes? Yep. Hope she gets here soon though because I don't have too many clothes that fit during the weather as it gets warmer
Sleep? I probably wake up 4 or 5 times a night maybe? This mornig I was up from 3:00 on. Got to watch Survivor though on the DVR!
Best Moment This Week: Knowing that Madelyn could be here any day now!
Movement? Some days she is just a crazy woman in there. She can really pack a punch/kick!
Food cravings: Tater tots! Yum!
Belly button?Stretched thin and mostly out
What I miss: Running and getting up easily from the couch! I basically have to count to 3 and then tell myself to get up right now! :)
What I am looking forward to? Her getting here of course!!!
Wisdom of the week: One day at a time at this point!
Milestones: FULL TERM and apparently she's about the size of watermelon now... Whoa! We also have her carseat base installed too!
