Well, we made it! Day 1 down, 3 more to go!

Well, we did it! Day 1 of me back to work is complete! It was hard in the morning when I left her. I had done fine before that: Got her up, fed her, got me ready, out the door on time, etc. But when I had to say goodbye I cried. Cried on the way to school... That wasn't a good feeling to have to leave her! However once I got in my classroom and stayed busy I was okay for the rest of the day. The kids were really happy that I was back and we had fun. It looked like they had all grown SO much! Plus throughout the day it helped in that Madelyn's babysitter sent me a few email updates and even some pictures. Below is one of them. This is Madelyn playing under the new play gym that is there for her. It has a little bird at the top that swings and chirps. Apparently she really likes it and the two twin boys that are there even help out and turn it on for her. Too cute! Glad to know that Madelyn had a good day. Let's be honest at this point she probably didn't even know I was gone but it's so good to know that she was happy without me. Day 1 down, just 3 more to go until SUMMER!!!! :)
