How did she get to be 5 months old?!?!

Haha, below is Madelyn's surprised, "Oh my GOSH, I can't believe that I am 5 months old today!" face. She pulls it off well doesn't she? She is just getting so big and growing so much and she really does seem to be learning something new everyday. I got kind of sad today when I realized that it's been over two weeks now since we swaddled her last, she uses her passifier less and less all the time it seems, and she is sitting up better and better all of the time. It's just so fun to watch her turn into more and more of a little person with a sometimes BIG personality! :) Here she is below in her Super Woman pose. A lot of the time when she's playing on her stomach she has her feet and arms in the air and does a swimming/flying motion that is just too funny!

She's doing a lot better at the babysitter's and most days is pretty happy. I am still adjusting to being back at work full time. I guess 4.5 months away from teaching will do that. Wow, school is just reallllly crazy right now. Granted each start to the school year is always super busy but combined with a new reading curriculum it's kind of over the top this year!

And in GREAT news, Madelyn has turned into an awesome napper there and here at home. The last few days here at home she has taken over a 2 hour nap on each day over the labor day weekend. Umm...I'm being truthful when I say that she has NOT done that in over four months probably. Let's hope that continues for sure!
