Hand, Foot, and Mouth. :(

When we woke up Madelyn on Saturday morning she had a crazy amount of red bumps around her mouth. Quickly I thought in my head if we'd given her anything different to eat or drink, if she'd washed her hands after petting a snake and a turtle the night before, anything to make these bumps make sense. Not so much. The next though I had was then confirmed at a doctor's appointment that morning. Hand, foot, and mouth disease. I think Madelyn has a relatively mild case because she hasn't complained too much and she's still eating and drinking okay but you can definitely tell she's just not herself. We're on day 4...Fingers crossed those blisters go away and that she's on the mend soon!
