5 & 6 weeks and GOOD news!

Above are Jack's 5 and 6 weeks pictures. He is getting so big and changing so much! He is making little cooing sounds now and it looks like he's trying to "talk" to us. He's also smiling sometimes now too and it just melts my heart. In some really great news, we went to Chidren's Hospital yesterday for a follow up appointment for Jack's heart. When he was born he had a heart murmur and a small hole in his heart. That was scary to hear for sure! He had an echocardiogram then and yesterday he had an EKG and we got amazing news from his doctor---> He heard NO murmur and Jack DOES NOT have to come back for a follow up. EVER! So Jack has been doing some awesome growing on the outside that we can see but on the inside in that little heart of his as well. We knew Jack was acting like a "normal" baby but this just really solidified for us that he is okay. Adam and I felt about a hundred pounds lighter walking out of the hospital! We have still been battling germs around the house though. Mads was sick this past weekend and actually had to stay home from swim lessons with made us all sad. Her fever got up to 103 and it turned out she had an ear infection. She's doing so much better now though and so far we've still been able to keep Jack germ free so that's a relief!
