She did it! Plus- Allergy update

Today at Madelyn's school they had a "Flying Piglet" marathon in honor of the Flying Pig marathon that will be downtown tomorrow morning. They have been training hard during her gym times and guess what? She did it!! She made it the whole mile!  Awesome job Madelyn!  My dad went to cheer her on so I"m hoping that he was able to catch some good pictures of her, so I'll put those up if he did. But here she is, ready to go, dressed in pink before school this morning. 

Also, an update on her allergy appointment the other day. The allergist that we saw is thinking that she is actually still allergic to dairy products like she was when she was an infant. Or we just have the worst luck in the world as far as catching a new virus every week. When Mads was little and I was nursing her, we started to see blood in her stool. Once I cut dairy out of my diet she started to get better and she was on a special formula until she was a year old once we switched to that. Since her 1 year birthday and especially since she's been 2, she has been sick a LOT and on antibiotics about 6 times in the past year. Not healthy to do that it sounds like. Soooo....she will be having some blood testing done on Monday to find out what she's allergic to and how we can possibly switch her diet around if we need to in order to make her start feeling better. She's still happy all of the time but it's getting old to be on an antibiotic because of a lot of ear infections and sinus infections too.  We'll see what it says!
