Over the summer my dad planted pumpkins in his garden of tomatoes, squash, and eggplant. Little did we know how truly crazy and big those pumpkin vines would grow! They even climbed up and over the pumpkin fence and then down onto the ground and way out into the yard! Overnight they would grow inches at a time! It was amazing to see! Tonight Mads and Jack got to see some of the pumpkins be cut from the vines. Madelyn was SO excited to see them! She had been watching them grow over the past few months so it was fun for her to see the whole pumpkin cycle from beginning to end. We will see how many more we're able to get!
