On Sunday, we were lucky enough to have some good weather to go to Lake Cumberland for the first time this summer! Judy, Aunt Fuss, and Adam left early and were seriously hard at work allllll morning cleaning the pontoon to get it ready to take its' first trip. I felt really kind of guilty because I would normally be helping out too but with Madelyn and being pregnant, we just met them down there once everything was ready to go. Below is a picture of Adam being captain and taking us down the lake.

It was a hot day and once we got moving out on the lake, Madelyn LOVED it! She kept putting her arms up and out and saying "WHHHHEEEEE!!!!!" the whole time. It was hilarious! Towards the end she was getting kind of frustrated that she couldn't walk around but of course she can't because she could fall since it's so unstable with all of the waves. We're hoping in time that she'll learn the rules of the water!

Here, Madelyn enjoys the ride and the shade with Grandma Cahill.

Laughing up a storm!

Having not had a second nap, by the time we were getting close to heading back, Madelyn was just totally worn out and tired from all of the excitement. She didn't even notice as I put her down here on the side of the boat and even slept in my arms as we carried her up to the restaraunt. Her cat nap was all she needed though, as she was as good as gold for dinner and she LOVED trying the famous Grouper Fingers for the first time!
