15 month stats!

Mads and I went to the dr. this morning for her 15 month appointment. The dr. was amazed at how big she's gotten and of course be how much she's talking. I almost laughed when the nurse asked if she could say more than 3 words. Haha, you should hear her go! Honestly if I sat down and counted them all I'm willing to be that she knows at least 40-50. It's awesome to hear her learn new ones each day!

Madelyn weighs in at 24 lbs (64%tile for her age), 31 inches tall (66%tile), and her head is 19 inches (90th%tile) which is to hold all of the big brains in her head! :) Appointment went great up until the end when they had to draw some blood to check her hemoglobin levels. OH MY GOSH. I'm not kidding you, I can only count on one hand the amount of times that I have heard Madelyn cry that much or that hard in her entire life I think. And whoa is she strong. It was taking myself and the nurse to hold her down to have it done. :( Poor thing. I'm so glad that's over. Once we got out to the car she had calmed down thank goodness.

In other news, Madelyn's love of Blue's Clues is still holding strong and she is branching out just a little bit sometimes to watching Dora as well. I think my favorite word of hers that she says right now might be "bah-pack" which she says all of the time when Dora comes on. So much fun to see what a big girl our little girl is becoming! :)
