Today we took a trip out to Indiana with my mom and dad to visit their farm property in Indiana. It was really cool! They have almost 50 acres there and almost 10 of those are now being used to grow soybeans. When we got there, we went back a long gravel road to reach the barn where there is a really nice room to sleep with a built in fireplace, etc. That was nice to see so that next time we go back we'll have an idea of what sleeping arrangements could be. Everything that we saw was really pretty and nicely cleared away. I'm looking forward to going back sometime when we can stay long enough to have a fire and make some smores!

As you can see above, there is a HUGE tractor in the barn! We sat Madelyn there for some good photo opportunities! Next time she'll have to take a ride on it for sure!

We went really early in the morning to try to avoid the heat but that didn't stop Madelyn's cheeks from getting red! Here she is enjoying a "crack-ERRR!" as part of her snack.

They also have a really nice, air conditioned RTV that they use to get around all of the property. Today my dad, Madelyn, and I took a ride in to see everything. She loved to be able to look out of the big windows since she didn't have to sit in the car seat. She also liked that she could touch the gear shift.

Here is Mads taking a break in the chair, and below, on the tractor with my dad.

On the tractor with mom!

We tried to get her to sit in one of the tires but you can see how that turned out...

Probably the only downfall of the day was that my mom got stung by some wasps...THREE times! :( Once we thought about it, we think it may have been the perfume she was wearing? They didn't bother me but I honestly saw them swarm right onto her as she was trying to look the port a potty! :( Ouch! My dad will be spraying them tomorrow!
