Anatomy Scan

Well as you can see from above, Jack is still a boy! We went today for his anatomy scan ultrasound and it appears that he's nice and healthy in there. I think I can just go ahead and say that I hate ultrasound days. I truly do. I know most normal people get excited to see the baby, etc. but I guess our situation is different. I don't sleep for the nights before them, I worry constantly that it's just another time for them to have to tell me that something is wrong. It's not very fun. Thankfully I could get a good read on the ultrasound tech and she was pretty fast and didn't linger on any one major area so we figured that everything was okay. While Jack is healthy there are still a few concerns-- 1.) My subchorionic hematoma is sitll there. Smaller, but still there. It can cause your water to break early. It can cause abruption. It could cause nothing. However the threat of it upping my chances for anything to go badly just is worrisome. 2.) At this point I also have a low lying placenta. Not problematic yet but we just need it to move up as I grow more and then hopefully we can mark that off the list as well. From here I'll be seeing a doctor every other week. More than fine with me. Better safe than sorry about everything when it comes to taking care of my little guy!
