The past 24 hours--
The past 24 hours have been a little crazy. I came in yesterday to have a routine stress test for Jack and it was non reactive. Because of that, they did a biophysical profile ultrasound on him. He didn't practice breathing in the allotted time so they admitted me to the hospital for 24 surveilance of him to make sure he was okay. I have now had two steroid shots to mature his lungs in case he would have to be delivered anytime soon so that makes me feel better. Additionally, since being on the monitors here he has been very reactive so that's good too. We did have another ultrasound yesterday at 3:00 where he did not practice his breathing again but my doctor is not concerned about that. It's very sporadic for when 28 weekers practice their breathing so the odds of catching it are slim. So the good news is that he is looking good! In other news my resting heart rate has been pretty high since I've been here. In the 120s and like to see it under 110. They'll be doing an EKG for me in a few minutes to rule anything out before I go home. Hopefully that will go okay!
