It's a ....Girl!!! Madelyn Harper Cahill will be here around April 9th, 2009. As of yesterday she was measuring a about 3 days ahead of schedule and she was too cute! We are very excited.
We also got some news to pray about: Madelyn has some choroid plexus cysts on her brain. They are not causing her any harm or limiting her growth in any way, and they won't in the future. They are just there and the good news is that in most cases they go away by the third trimester and all of the kids that have them go on to be healthy and happy. The dr. is sending us for a Level 2 Ultrasound next Tuesday the 23rd just to make sure that that's what they are though. They will also do some more measurments of Madelyn as well to rule out any "markers" for anything else. After that, it's just a waiting game to see if they go away in the next 7 or 8 weeks or so. I have talked to two of my friends now who also had this happen to their little ones and they are both perfectly fine so that does give us hope. Please pray with us that the same thing happens to with Madelyn's cysts. We'll keep everyone updated of course as we get any more news and info. Thanks!

Below is a picture of the graph that the kids did at school to guess the gender. The vote was 13 to 9 in favor of a girl. They were correct!
