Mouse in the House: Caught!!!!

Well this one was no where near as cute as Micky, but I do have to say that now that it's been a week, the mouse that was in our house was finally caught today! It was NOT a pretty sight when I first saw it...Picture a crying Cara, poised with a flashlight, towel, and the spaghetti pot that I'd fixed my dinner in. Geez! Not fun. If you know me at all, you know that I hate, hate, HATE anything that is creepy crawly. Gizmo had found the mouse but couldn't get to it to kill it. I thought she had just lost a toy under the toy box. Ha. Some surprise I got when I saw those beady little eyes with my flashlight. Once I worked up the courage to try to catch it, it ran away and then was nowhere to be found which meant I was more freaked out than before! But as of today, with about 4 Reese cups gone, and 5 mouse traps, we got one finally! Now let's just hope that it doesn't have any other friends running around..... ((keeps her feet tucked tightly under the blanket as she posts this!))
