Week 18: Sweet potato week!

Well, this is the week of the sweet potato! (see picture below!) We have had a fun week! At night I have been reading before bed and Jelly Bean is really active during this time! And during this time in the past few nights I have felt some pretty solid kicks and/or punches. They have been surprisingly hard so maybe Jelly Bean is already practicing some good swimming strokes in all of that fluid in there?!?! They have been so noticeable that they have made me jump and laugh to feel them! It's so much fun! Orange juice has been working its' magic when I drink it so last night before bed I drank a glass to see what would happen and sure enough a few minutes later, Baby Cahill was moving all around. I called Adam upstairs and he rested his hand there and sure enough a few minutes later he says he could feel a kick! I am super surprised as I didn't think he would be able to for at least another week or so but I guess the little one was in the mood to cooperate. Let's hope that spirit continues right? :)

Additionally this week I got to hear the baby's heartbeat again yesterday as a surprise. It was in the 160s. I called the dr. yesterday because I wanted to ask about some sharp pains that I had been having off and on for about three days. Apparently walking around at the outlets on Saturday for about 7 hours and then going to a different outlet mall on Sunday for 3 hours caused me to have a lot of RLP pain. (Round Ligament Pain) Dr. wanted to see me to check it all out for sure but said that once he knew that there was nothing else going on that was alarming that it was pretty much a textbook case of it, especially since I had been on me feet for so long over the weekend. Kind of felt like I was being stabbed for a few seconds at a time! But now that I know that it's normal and I don't have to worry about it, I'll take it with a smile for sure! Kept my feet up last night while Adam and caught up on "Fast Forward" which is one of our new favorite shows and I am feeling better today!

And also...only 6 more days unil the big ultrasound on MONDAY to find out if we are having a boy or a girl Jelly Bean!!!! *********Can't wait!!!!!!!!************
