1.) Whenever I try to squeeze in a shower in the mornings, she KNOWS juuuust when I've gotten out and that is when she chooses to wake up. I haven't had time yet to do my hair, makeup, or even towel off and something in her brain says, "Oh the water is off, I want to get up now!"2.) Never fails that if we are eating at home, eating at someone else's house, or eating out at a restaurant that no matter when the last time she ate was or how I tried to manage her feeding schedule that the minute my food arrives from the kitchen now days, BAM! She's hungry too and wants to eat! Maybe she has a really good sense of smell and smells it coming and then wants food as well? Or maybe she's jealous that we're eating and she wants to join in the fun. Either way, she's like clock work!
3.) And finally, we are lucky enough in all of our travels to Richmond and in just running errands around town that Madelyn does fall to sleep pretty quickly when we put her in the car seat. As long as she has the kitty pacifier and is wedged in between her blankets comfortably, she's out...until...the car stops moving. It's another of her sixth senses at work. No matter how tired she is, we try reallllllly carefully to get her into house in her car seat and almost immediately after we put her down, her eyes POP open and she wants out NOW. Smart girl our Madelyn.
Let's just hope that all of these internal clocks and senses make her a Type A like her mommy so that she's super organized and always on time... :) :)
