Braces for Madelyn
Madelyn has been standing/walking on her tiptoes for awhile now. Adam and I have noticed and other people had to so we decided to call Miss Jill back. She was Madelyn's physical therapist when she was going for her torticollis. She suggested that Madelyn be fitted for some foot/ankle braces that with strengthen her ankle muscles and also make it harder for her to stand on her tiptoes. This way she'll be learning to walk the right way as opposed to learning the wrong way and us trying to undo it later. Sooo....I'm not overly excited about the idea of course but they really aren't that big or that bad. She'll need to wear gym shoes and higher socks (no sandals for summertime as of now) and the braces will stick up about an inch or two above the top of her shoes. So hopefully not too noticeable. They will be pink though so that's good at least. I'll take some pictures of them once they come in, in another week or so.
