Timmy's Headstone

Timmy's headstone was placed in its' spot last week. Adam and I are very happy with it. We both helped to design it and it has everything on it that reminds us of him. To me, it somehow looks peaceful and I like that. When Adam and I pass, it will be our headstone as well and our names will go on either side of Timmy's. As happy as we are with it, WOW, it was a tough day for me. Tougher than I'd had in a long time it seemed. Complete with lots of ugly and uncontrollable crying. I guess just because as much as I like the design and wanted it to be there to mark where he is, it's just still a very permanent reminder that he's not here and that hurt a lot. I mean it's still shocking on a lot of levels that there is now a gravestone for our little boy. Seeing it in it's place was good but so sad at the same time. :(
