We started and finished our Christmas decorating this weekend. We have two trees for the first time this year. Below, we just got a new 9 foot tall tree to go in our living room where we spend most of our time. When we first turned on the lights for Madelyn she said, "Goodness!" "Wow!" and "Tall!"
Our second tree is the one in the front window of the house so that people can see it from the street. It's been too funny to watch Madelyn run back and forth between them when she gets wound up. It'll be interesting to see how much she "gets" Christmas as the weeks go by. We've been telling her about Santa and she already knows a few Christmas songs (her favorite part of Jingle Bells is saying the "HEY!" part) so we'll see!
