Fishing

Over the weekend my dad went to Bass Pro Shop and bought Madelyn her first fishing pole and tackle box. After practicing her casting and reeling in the yard, we thought she was ready to give it a real shot. This morning we took her to the lake at one of the nearby parks so that she could really see what it was all about. She had a hard time being patient and waiting for a fish to bite! Her favorite part was reeling it in all by herself. We didn't catch anything, but we did get to see a mommy and baby duck, a turtle, and lots of dogs. Better luck next time!
