It's a....BOY!!!

We had another doctor's appointment today. It was supposed to be a pretty routine. Just some questions for the doctor, listen to the heartbeat, check to make sure that my uterus was still in the right place, etc. Well when it came time for the doctor to listen to the heartbeat on the doppler, as luck would have it, the baby was being pretty stubborn.  The doctor went and got a portable ultrasound machine, about the size of an Ipad, so that we could be sure the baby was doing okay. We got to see the heartbeat and then after a few minutes I asked if he could tell whether it was a girl or a boy. It's a BOY!  The doctor was pretty darn confident. He said the baby was definitely showing "the goods" today and that one day he'd "make his wife pretty happy." Hahhahaha. We'll take it! Very exciting! Jackson (Jack) Carter Cahill will be here in December if not sooner!  :)
