We carved our pumpkins tonight! As you can see below, Madelyn was less than impressed with the inside of her pumpkin. When she touched it she said, "sticky!" and was happier once I washed her hands, haha.

I think this year will be hard with all the firsts he was supposed to have had...that you had dreamed him having... I can not imagine what you are feeling. My friend's baby was born stillborn at 34wks, exactly one month after my baby. I would cry at all my baby's firsts because she would never experience them with her baby (one time I even cried because my baby was crying and she would never hear her baby cry...I must have looked silly because my baby stopped crying and smiled at me...which only made me cry harder). I still think of him everyday, 6.5 yrs later. I pray for your family to have continued healing, peace, and strength.
