Happy 2nd Anniversary!

Adam and I have our 2nd wedding anniversary on Tuesday. That night however we have his work party at Barleycorn's and it's no much fun to try to celebrate on a weeknight. So on Friday we went to Carlo & Johnny's in Montgomery to celebrate, and boy did we! I had looked online at the menu before we got there and was thrilled to find out that they had sushi I could eat! It had cooked crab filet mignon on it instead of raw fish and it was absolutely delicious! As soon as Adam and I bit in to our sushi rolls we looked at each other and said, "Oh my gosh, this is what we've been missing!" We hadn't had sushi since I found out I was pregnant so it's been a reallllly long wait for us! It was such a great way to start off the meal! Additionally I got to try my first non-alcoholic beer and it was a good treat as well!After our sushi, Adam and I both had the Freddy salad, steaks, and lobster mashed potatoes. Everything was sooooo good! And for dessert of course we had creme brulee, another favorite. We had to take a picture of it below. YUM!

And when Adam and I got married I promised myself that I would always get him or fix him some variation of our wedding cake each year. Last year I ordered a small cake for him from the woman that made ours. This year I was determined to do it myself and I have to brag a little bit, it tasted VERY comprable to it. It was delicious! For Adam's groom cake he had vanilla cake with chocolate chips and raspberry filling so that's what I made here at home. It's pictured above and was soooo good! I had two pieces, yum!
